Job opening: Industrial Assembler Ex

R . STAHL Tranberg AS is strengthening its Ex department and is now looking for one or more assemblers, preferably with Ex experience.

The Ex department produces unique products for our customers in the Energy and Maritime sectors. The main areas of responsibility will range from product and system assembly to testing and final inspection.

You will join a small team of four people and a team leader, part of a more extensive and diverse production unit with 26 employees. Therefore, good communication and cooperation are essential, as we deliver a lot internally and across departments.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and is a solid team player. You work in a structured and accurate manner and can adapt to customers and production deadlines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of electrical junction boxes. From small terminal strip boxes to large high-voltage cabinets
• Assembly of thermostat boxes with wiring
• Control and testing of own work
• Final inspection of others’ work

Desired Skills

• Experience from similar work is an advantage
• Ex competence will be emphasized
• Formal education in electrical engineering is an advantage
• Background/work experience can compensate for lack of schooling
• Able to communicate well in Norwegian and English
