Job opening: Sales Manager Marine

R.STAHL Tranberg AS in Stavanger is looking for a new Sales Manager Marine. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company that develops and delivers integrated and digitized lighting solutions for the maritime and offshore industry.

We wish to strengthen our sales team with another skilled and fearless salesperson. Your main responsibilities will be to manage and take care of the relationship with existing customers and identify and further develop the customer portfolio, especially in Norway and Scandinavia. We seek someone with a good technical understanding, a commercial mindset, and preferably a maritime network.

Our days vary, from sales and customer follow-ups at the office to activities at the customer’s site. Many of our customers are located all along the coast, so travel is to be expected. The position reports to the Sales Director.

Tasks and Areas of Responsibility

• Sales of the company’s products and systems to existing and new customers
• Establish new relationships and networks
• Participate in industry fairs and host local customer events
• Prepare offers and conduct product presentations
• Prepare sales and activity plans for your own sales area
• Contribute internally to optimize service offers and solutions

Desired Skills

• Experience in system sales / integrated solutions
• Background in electrical, automation, and technical sales is an advantage
• Maritime network and understanding of the market as well as decision-making processes
• Good written and verbal communication skills, in both Norwegian and English
• Experience using CRM and Office systems
