The TRANBERG® TEF 2850 Ex is the explosion-protected version of Tranberg’s classic navigation light for vessels of 20–50 m and over 50 m in length, certified for zone 2 and safe area as II 3G Ex nR IIC Gc T5. The lantern is powder-coated aluminium with a coloured glass lens that never fades and is easily cleaned of paint, bird droppings, pollution and oil. An integrated terminal box removes the need for a separate connection box, and the top-hinged housing gives quick access for lamp replacement. Proven through years of use in arctic and tropical waters on tankers, FPSOs and offshore vessels. Nine part numbers – masthead, side, stern, Suez, towing and all-round lights.

Light sources and spare parts
Order the lamp separately by vessel size and voltage: 85 W / 65 cd for vessels over 50 m (9400 001 for 220 V, 9400 002 for 110 V) or 55 W / 35 cd for 20–50 m (9400 003 for 220 V, 9400 004 for 110 V). Mounting brackets for 1″ (2622) and 2″ pipe (2615), lamp holder B22 (5088 0010), junction box gasket (5001 0041) and cable gland M20 for Ø5–10 mm cable (5657) are listed under accessories.
