R. STAHL TRANBERG AS is seeking a Project Engineer for a full-time position. Main responsibilities will include supporting in-house production and follow-up on orders/projects. We primarily seek a person with a good understanding of electrical systems and Ex knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

In the Engineering and Project Department at R. STAHL TRANBERG you will have the opportunity to work on both Marine- and Energy- related projects for customers worldwide, and as part of a great team with highly skilled and motivated colleagues.

The main tasks will include drawing and designing solutions for customers and preparing project and production documentation. Supporting sales/production and managing smaller projects will be a natural part of your daily work.

As a Project Engineer, you will also play an important role in the implementation of SAP and the optimization of processes and materials towards production and sales.

The main tasks will be:

  • 3D drawing and designing solutions for customers as well as preparing documentation, creating production drawings and bills of materials for our in-house production
  • Preparation of document packages
  • Support and close cooperation with related areas such as development, project management, sales, purchasing and production teams
  • Management of projects- internally and externally
  • Heat trace calculations
  • High voltage design

Desired Qualifications

  • Electrical/Instrumentation background
  • Ex experience (training can be provided)
  • AutoCAD and SolidWorks (training can be provided)
  • Experience from electrical installations in Marine and Oil & Gas applications is an advantage
  • Experience with SAP will be an advantage
