The TRANBERG® TEF 2870 is a cast brass navigation and signal light for vessels of 20–50 metres and more than 50 metres in length, designed and manufactured by R. STAHL Tranberg in Stavanger for rough environments from arctic to tropical waters. The lens is through-coloured glass, so the colour never fades and paint, bird droppings, pollution and oil can simply be cleaned off. The terminal box is integrated, the bulb is reached from the top for quick replacement, and every lantern is supplied with isolators for mounting on aluminium hulls and masts. The same lantern is available in a Zone 2 Ex version.

Selecting the right lantern
Choose the location and colour from the vessel’s lantern list. Half all-round lights (180°) are used in pairs where a single 360° lantern would be obstructed. For hazardous areas, select the Zone 2 version. Control and monitoring is handled by the TEF 4900 Commander or TEF 4800 navigation light control systems.
