The TRANBERG® TEF 2898 is a small, robust navigation light for vessels of 7–20 m in length: workboats, fishing vessels, pilot and rescue boats, yachts and small ferries. The lantern is anodised seawater-resistant aluminium with a lens of through-coloured glass that never fades, IP56, with a Bay15d lamp for 12 or 24 V AC/DC. The bulb is reached from the top for quick replacement, and the cable is connected directly in the lantern. Eleven part numbers cover masthead, side, stern and towing lights, all-round lights and the additional signal lights required by national waters and canal authorities.

Light sources and spare parts
Order the Bay15d lamp by vessel size and voltage: 10 W for 7–12 m (9400 053 for 12 V, 9400 051 for 24 V) or 25 W for 12–20 m and all-round lights (9400 054 for 12 V, 9400 050 for 24 V). The lantern lamps are not CE-marked light sources. Mounting bracket 3264, lamp holder with fixing bracket 3298 and spare glass lenses in clear (5048 0019), green (5048 1011), red (5048 2011) and yellow (5048 3009) are listed under accessories where available. For vessels over 20 m see the TEF 2870 navigation lights, and for LED lanterns the compact TEF 2890.
