Choosing the right adapter or reducer
The correct part depends on the thread size and type at both the enclosure and the cable gland, the required ingress protection (IP) rating, and the area classification of the installation. For hazardous areas, make sure the adapter or reducer carries the appropriate Ex certification for the zone.
