The TRANBERG® Compact Navigation Light TEF 2890 Duplex is a sealed LED navigation lantern for ships, for installation in safe area. The lantern is made of anodised aluminium, stainless steel AISI 316 and borosilicate glass, is rated IP68 and comes with a 10 m flying lead, so no junction box is needed at the lantern. The duplex version has two independent LED light sources with separate supply leads, giving the redundancy required where duplicated navigation lights are specified. Visibility 3–6 nm, power consumption 1–10 W at 24 V DC, 100 000 hour lifetime. 13 part numbers – select by lantern type and colour below.

Selecting the right lantern
Pick the lantern by its function and sector: masthead 225°, starboard and port 112.5°, stern and towing 135°, all-round 360° or half-round screened 180°. Choose duplex where class or flag state requires duplicated navigation lights; the simplex version covers single-source installations and adds morse and flashing signal lights.
