The MONI-PT100-EXE with 2 m MI cable connects directly into the thermostat or controller enclosure through an M16 gland: the Pt100 element on a mineral insulated stainless steel cable withstands the high surface temperatures that a PTFE sensor cable cannot, and the Ex e construction allows connection in hazardous areas without an intrinsically safe circuit.
