The TRANBERG® TEF E204/622 is an Ex e cable gland for unarmoured and braided cables, made in brass and developed and manufactured at the R. STAHL Tranberg factory in Stavanger. It seals on the outer sheath of the cable with a silicone gasket and has an O-ring for sealing between the gland and the enclosure. Every size is available with a 9 mm or 15 mm entry thread length.

Special conditions for use: additional clamping of the cable shall be installed to ensure that pulling and twisting is not transmitted to the terminals.

Selecting the right size
Every variant has its own part number. Choose by entry thread, entry length (9 mm or 15 mm) and overall cable diameter: the cable’s outside diameter must fall inside the clamping range of the sealing code. Several sealing codes are available for each thread size. The Option column marks kits with more than one seal, variants supplied with a lock nut or self-locking nut, and seals for flat cables. Across-flats and across-corners dimensions are given for spanner and hole-spacing planning.
