An internally serrated washer in stainless steel AISI 316 sits between the cable gland or lock nut and the enclosure wall. The teeth bite into the surface, which secures the gland against vibration and gives a reliable metal-to-metal earth path where the enclosure is painted or coated. Corrosion-resistant for offshore and industrial installations.
