A flat gasket in PTFE (Teflon) that seals between the cable gland and the enclosure wall. The datasheets for the TRANBERG® E204/622, E205/624 and D621 glands state that the gland must be used with a PTFE gasket to maintain its IP66/67 rating. PTFE is chemically inert and non-metallic, and keeps its sealing properties across the temperature range of the glands.

  • Sealing between cable gland, stopping plug or adaptor and the enclosure
  • Harsh and corrosive environments, indoor and outdoor
