SOLAS requires all ships over 150 GT on international voyages to carry an efficient daylight signalling lamp that does not depend solely on the ship’s main source of electrical power. The HML-ISO 35 is the halogen version: a Ø 150 mm glass parabolic reflector gives 108 900 cd and 330 m at 1 lux, with toughened front glass, rubber sealing, quick-fastening rubber, a sighting device, micro switch for left- and right-handed use, 5 m connection cable, SOS function and permanent light. The set comes in an ABS carrying case with battery and charger, three spare lamps, red, green and blue filters and two flush-mount power outlets. IP56, −25 °C to +55 °C, average lamp life 4 000 h. Built at least to the requirements of ABS, BV, DNV, GL, LR and PRS; DNV GL SE MEDB0000206, MEDD00000J3, ISO 25861, EN 60945, IMO Res. MSC.95. For the LED version, see the HML-ISO LED 5 (2519225500).
