The CMP Triton T3CDS is a globally approved explosive-atmosphere cable gland for armoured cables. It seals on both the cable inner bedding and the outer sheath, clamps the armour with a reversible cone and a universal clamping ring, and gives a metal-to-metal installation regardless of cable diameter. It is the standard armoured-cable gland in the R. STAHL Tranberg Energy range and is supplied here in brass.
Where it is used
Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas atmospheres and Zone 20/21/22 dust atmospheres on offshore installations, in process plants and on ships, with single wire armour (SWA), aluminium wire armour (AWA), pliable wire armour (PWA), steel tape armour (STA), aluminium strip armour (ASA) and wire braid cables (SWB, CY/SY).

Selecting the right size
Every variant below has its own part number. Choose by the two cable dimensions: the cable bedding diameter is the diameter under the armour, and the overall cable diameter is the outside of the outer sheath. Both must fall inside the ranges given for the size. Sizes marked S have a smaller cable range for the same entry thread. Datasheet, user manual and certificates apply to the whole series and are listed once above the table.
Other materials (nickel-plated brass, stainless steel 316, aluminium) and NPT threads are available on request.
