The TRANBERG® TEF 1058 heat trace junction box pipe mounted (on-line) connects self-regulating heating cables to the power supply in hazardous areas, zone 1, zone 2 and safe area. It is built on the TEF 1058 stainless steel enclosure, developed and manufactured at the R. STAHL Tranberg factory in Stavanger, and Tranberg heat trace boxes are found on most oil installations in the North Sea. The pipe mounted box sits directly on the traced pipe with a transition unit for the heating cable, so no separate off-line box is needed. Certified to ATEX and IECEx as Ex eb IIC T5 Gb, IP66/67.

Selecting the right box
Choose the small box for one or two heating cables and the large box for three. Take the version with glands when the power cable is Ø13–17 mm and you want the box ready to install; take the drilled version when glands are specified separately. The heating cable is connected with the connection kit for pipe mounting, matched to the Raychem cable type.
