TRANBERG® TEF 1058 is a stainless steel junction box for hazardous areas, zone 1, zone 2 and safe area, developed and manufactured at the R. STAHL Tranberg factory in Stavanger. Tranberg has manufactured junction boxes for hazardous areas since the beginning of the Norwegian oil history, and the solutions are developed together with customers to meet the demands for flexibility. The series is certified to both ATEX and IECEx as an Ex eb enclosure, and is used for a wide range of electro, instrument and telecom installations.

Selecting the right box
Choose the size by the number and cross-section of conductors and the number of cable glands needed; each size datasheet gives the recommended glands per side and the conductor table. Choose the empty box when the box is equipped to a component list, or the version with terminal rail and PE bus bar for standard terminal work. The arctic version has a silicone gasket for ambient temperatures down to −60 °C. Cable glands are found under TEF E204/622, and stopping plugs under TEF 793/650.
