The remote control cabinet lets the helideck crew operate the status lights from the deck: it is connected to the central TEF 9980 control panel and controls up to two main lights and two repeater lights, with control and fault indication. All connected lights flash in sync from an automatic synchronisation signal, and the lights dim to 50 % intensity after 30 minutes in operation (optional), as specified in CAA UK CAP 437. Small footprint and low weight, for indoor or outdoor installation in Zone 1, Zone 2 or safe area. Supplied with 24 V DC from the central panel, IP66, −30 °C to +55 °C with extended range on request.
