The TRANBERG® TEF 1058 Small Power junction box is a pre-equipped stainless steel box for local power distribution in hazardous areas, zone 1, zone 2 and safe area. It is built on the TEF 1058 Ex eb enclosure, developed and manufactured at the R. STAHL Tranberg factory in Stavanger, and comes with terminals, PE bus bar and pre-drilled entries with temporary plugs, so the installer only fits the cable glands and connects the cables. Versions from 16 A with 6 mm² terminals to 35 A with 10 mm² terminals, including three-phase 400 V distribution with single-phase outlets.

Application

  • Local power distribution to small consumers in hazardous areas: lighting, heating cables, instruments and small motors
  • Splitting one supply cable into several outlets in one Ex eb box instead of several junction boxes
  • Offshore, onshore and marine installations to NORSOK requirements

Selecting the right box

Choose by the load: 16 A single-phase with six terminals for size 15, 25 A distribution with one supply and two to four outlets, or 35 A with 5+5 terminals of 10 mm² for size 25. The three-phase versions take a 400 V supply through the Ø32 entry and feed either three-phase or single-phase 230 V outlets. Cable glands are found under TEF E204/622; the empty and terminal-rail versions are the standard TEF 1058 junction box.
