TRANBERG® Xenon Searchlight – TEF 2650

The TRANBERG® TEF 2650 Commander Xenon 1000W/1600W Searchlight is built for vessels requiring maximum visibility and performance in the harshest maritime environments. Suitable for all vessel types, it delivers superior long-range illumination — a preferred alternative to halogen in demanding applications such as ice navigation.

Engineered with a unique colour distribution, the Xenon “Ice Searchlight” rapidly detects ice and enhances the visibility of surface objects. With peak beam intensities of up to 52 million candela and ranges exceeding 7,400 metres (1 lux at target), it delivers unmatched performance for navigation and search operations.

The TEF 2650 Xenon is constructed from stainless steel with a toughened soda-lime glass lens and a silver-plated glass reflector, protected to IP56. It withstands temperatures down to -50°C and features self-regulating anti-condensation and motorhouse heating for reliable operation in extreme climates.

Designed for flexibility, it can be operated from 1–16 control panels and includes a remote-controlled motor focus. Optional features include pedestal mounting, spread filters, radio control systems and additional control panels. With a lamp life of approximately 2,000 hours and robust build quality, the TEF 2650 Xenon Searchlight provides long-lasting, high-performance lighting for maritime operations worldwide.
