TRANBERG® Xenon Searchlight – TEF 2650

The TRANBERG® TEF 2650 Commander Xenon 1000W/1600W Searchlight is built for vessels requiring maximum visibility and performance in the harshest maritime environments. Suitable for all vessel types, it offers superior long-range illumination, making it a preferred alternative to halogen in demanding applications such as ice navigation.

Engineered with a unique colour distribution, the Xenon “Ice Searchlight” rapidly detects ice and enhances the visibility of surface objects. With peak beam intensities of up to 52 million candela and ranges exceeding 7,400 meters (1 lux at target), it delivers unmatched performance for navigation and search operations.

The TEF 2650 Xenon is constructed from stainless steel with a toughened soda-lime glass lens and a silver-plated glass reflector, protected by IP56 ingress protection. It withstands sub-zero temperatures down to -50°C, includes self-regulating anti-condensation and motorhouse heating, and ensures reliable operation even in extreme climates.

Designed for flexibility, it can be operated from 1–16 control panels and includes a remote-controlled motor focus. Optional features include pedestal mounting, spread filters, radio control systems, and additional control panels with lamp lifetimes of approximately two thousand hours and robust build quality.
