The TRANBERG® TEF 9980 is a helideck status light system for Zone 1 and safe areas: a flashing red light visible to the pilot from any direction of approach, telling the crew “do not land” or “move clear of the landing area” when a condition on the installation is hazardous for the helicopter. The main light gives at least 700 cd at 2–10° elevation, and the low-dome repeater lights complete the 360° coverage when the helicopter is on deck. Both are fully monitored when combined with our helideck control system, so no redundant units are needed. Powder coated seawater-resistant aluminium and tempered glass, IP66/67, NVG-compatible IR LEDs, maintenance free. Developed and manufactured at our own factory.
