The TRANBERG® BlueLine TEF 2880 Duplex is a compact LED navigation and signal light in anodised, seawater-resistant aluminium with a glass lens, developed and manufactured by R. STAHL Tranberg in Stavanger. The Duplex version has two independent light sources in one housing, each rated for 100 000 hours, so the spare light is always mounted and no changeover lantern is needed. The light source is monitored, a timer is built in for flashing versions, and the QPD plugs from Phoenix Contact make cable installation fast and secure. Navigation lights are available with the visible range for ships over 50 m (TPS6666) and for ships of 20–50 m (TPS6474).

Spare parts

Selecting the right lantern
Choose the location and colour from the vessel’s lantern list, then the visible range for the ship’s length. Variants marked single cable entry take one cable for both light sources. The TEF 2880 Simplex is the single-source version of the same lantern. Control and monitoring is handled by the TEF 4900 Commander.
