The TEF 714 series is our heavy-duty cable gland family with BSP threads for safe areas, manufactured at our own factory for several decades: the TEF 714 cable gland with lock nut, the TEF 716 stuffing flange that bolts to thin bulkheads, and the TEF 718 terminal tube for the end of a conduit or protection pipe. All three come in 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ for cables from 8 to 24 mm, in brass or aluminium, and share the same neoprene grommets and pressure rings.
Application
- Cable entries in safe areas on vessels, offshore installations and industrial plants
- Brass for corrosion resistance, aluminium where weight matters
Features and benefits
- Supplied with neoprene gasket, two pressure rings and, for the cable gland, one lock nut
- For a reliable seal, use the pressure ring according to the cable diameter
- Free hole 22, 27 or 34 mm for 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″
