The R. STAHL series 8150 terminal boxes are Ex e enclosures in brushed stainless steel AISI 316L for zone 1, zone 2 and zone 21/22, supplied by R. STAHL Tranberg with the Ex certificate and equipped to the customer’s specification at the factory in Stavanger. The circumferential protection channel on the cover opening and the silicone seal make the enclosure usable in the most extreme temperature ranges, the flange plate is tightened from the outside for easy installation, and hinged versions open 130°. Standard sizes are kept in stock; other dimensions are available on request.

Selecting the right enclosure
Choose an empty enclosure by lid type and dimensions when the box is equipped to a component list, or one of the instrument and telecom enclosures by number of pairs or triples and signal type. For Tranberg’s own Ex eb junction boxes in smaller sizes, see TEF 1058; the heat trace switch boxes on the same enclosure are found under switch box.
